For the contestants to add to their prize fund, they must compete in ‘missions’ with varying prize funds. These ranged from loch-side giant steel burning beasts, to intricate music boxes playing custom bell renditions of popular tunes. Some were location based whilst others used the setting of the castle. Each one was adapted for the BBC and NBC series to add their own stamp.
