Mat is an award-winning production designer and founder of Bizibot, renowned for creating iconic sets for television, live events, and global entertainment brands.

After graduating from LAMDA, Mat began his career as a scenic carpenter before founding Bizibot in 2012, bringing together a specialist team to deliver standout set design and construction. His credits range from Love Island to Traitors and Squid Game, The Challenge and his work has earned Craft BAFTAs, Royal Television Society awards, an Art Directors Guild Award, and Emmy nominations.

Consultation – working with you through the early stages of idea and concept development with expert insight and practical solutions

Project Management – guiding your vision from the first spark of an idea through flawless delivery and efficient de-rig.

Budget management – Create, track, and report on a quantified budget, ensuring costs remain on target from start to finish

Production Design Draughting – From initial concept art to fully realised 3D visualisations, including photorealistic renders and precise construction drawings.

 

Bed Change

Art Direction – Guiding the creative vision from the first mood boards through styling, sourcing, and set decoration & dressing, with stand-by art direction to ensure every detail stays true

Set Construction – including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, steel work, props making

Scenic Painting – transforming designs into lifelike environments through painting, textures, and finishes
